To tide you over

Here is a questionairre from my birthboard. I hope to write something a little more meaningful soon, but this is a good overview of where he is developmentally.

At the dinner table...
Drinking from a sippy cup? Occasionaly for juice or water but with help. He still likes to be served.
Using a straw? occasionally
Eating solids? Yes, loving it
Eating table foods? Some cut into tiny pieces since he still has no teeth
Eating mum mums/puffs? yes
Feeding himself? Yes, pincher grasp only, no spoon yet. He prefers to feed himself.

What does your baby wear now...
What size clothes? 12 or 18 month
Wear to bed? One piece jammies with feet
Wear as a diaper brand? Pampers
What size diaper? 3
How often are you changing outfits? daily
Do you use a bib / how often? No, I’m bad about this
Wearing socks? Trying to let his feet "breathe" some now since he needs to be able to move on wood floor
Wearing shoes / what size? Yes, 4 ½ (had him fitted at Stride Rite just yesterday)
Wearing bows, hats, etc? hats (we’ll save the bows for a girl)

Sleeping ...
How many naps a day? 2
How long are the naps? ½ hour to an hour in the morning, hour and a half in the afternoon.
What time is your baby up each day? 7:00 to 7:30
What time does your baby go to sleep? 8:30 or 9:00
Does your baby sleep all night? yes
Does your baby use anything in bed (pacifier, blanket)? Pacifier, he has some toys too (he plays for a while before going to sleep.)
Where does your baby sleep? His crib in his room. Always has (if you don't include the first night home).
Any sleeping problems? nope

On the go...
Does your baby roll? Yes!
Does your baby sit up on their own? yes
Does your baby get on hands/knees? yes
Can your baby scoot? yes
Can your baby crawl? Yes (Finally!)
Is your baby starting to pull up? Yes, knees only on his own, standing with help
Is your baby standing all the time? nope
Is your baby taking steps? With help
Does your baby walk? no

Play time ...
Does your baby have/use a swing? No (he outgrew it ages ago)
Does your baby have/use a walker? No, he has a jumperoo (walkers are not considered safe any longer)
Does your baby like any specific toys? He likes rattles a lot, anything that can make noise even if it is just banging with something else or on the wood floor
Does your baby have a specific play area(s)? his room and our living room
Has your baby been to a park yet? yes
Has your baby been to a zoo yet? no, although we did go to Animal Kingdom back in November
Has your baby been on any fun rides yet? Yes! We went to Disney back in Nov.

Does your baby travel well? Yes

What does your baby do while riding? Watches stuff go by, talks, and occasionally sings (I think)
What is the longest your baby has traveled? 8 hours
Has your baby been on a plane? no

Has your baby had ear infections? Yes, last week was his first

Does your baby have teeth? Not yet, but getting close

What kind of demeanor does your baby have? Laid back
Does your baby have "moments"? not often, only when he doesn’t feel well
When is your baby most likely to cry? When I put him down, but only for a few seconds
What can you do to make your baby laugh? Most anything
Does your baby have any friends yet? Yes (Michael and Reagan at church)
